A fundamental part of our class is to conduct ecology based research at the Little Pend Oreille Wildlife Refuge. To allow us to also explore and learn about the wildlife in the area, we also chose three species. We are involved conducting in depth research on a animal, bird, and a plant. This allows us the ability to become knowledgeable about these different species and provides the opportunity to look out for signs or sightings of our species around Chewelah, and as we travel to the LPWR.
